诗篇127:3告诉我們, 儿女是耶和华所赐的产业。所怀的胎是他所给的赏赐 。 箴22:6说,教养孩童 ， 使他走当行的道 ，就是到老他也不偏离 。如何把神交给我們的产业教导得好,使他/她一生都走当行的道? 这里所指当行的道,是敬畏神的道,也是智慧人的道. 中华基督徒囯语教会深感这个使命的迫切性, 特別是洞察到这些孩子生長在在这充滿邪惡的世代中, 而家長都穿梭于忙彔的生活和事业中, 有多少时間用神的话來教导我們的孩子? 为了加強神话语的教导, 本教会堅守推展AWANA的周間儿童活动.
AWANA 是一个以圣经教导为核心的事工, 帮助培养3-18岁的儿童及青少年. 它的名字是从提摩太后书 2:15 Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed “你当竭力 ，在神面前得蒙喜悦 ，作无愧的工人”的经节而來. 这项事工將帮助培训孩子們的家長一同來培养认识神, 愛神, 服事神的下一代. 通过充滿乐趣的活动, 孩子們將學习到圣经中的各样教导, 而且將神的话牢记在心. 目前,全美有约12,000間, 海外还有约4,000間教会在运作AWANA的事工. 我們鼓励家長們热烈參与这事工,对个人和孩子灵命的成長都受益不淺.
本教会AWANA的活动定在每周五晚上8:00-9:45,活动地点在中华基督徒囯语教会9S565 Clarendon Hills Rd.Willowbrook IL60527 每年有兩季, 第一季从九月至12月;第二季是从正月至5月. 全年注册费$25, 购买制服另计$13. 本教会补贴此活动不敷的开支. 注册表格可在CCMC资料台上索取.
Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Tim.2:15). It is one of the largest children ministry program in the world. It has more than 50 years history and 16,000 churches around the world participate in AWANA program. How Does It Work?
In AWANA program, children are grouped into clubs:
Cubbies (preschoolers, must be 3 years old, potty trained)
Sparks (K to 2nd Graders)
T & T (3rd to 5th Graders)
Curriculum is tailored to match kids needs and learning curve in each age group. A typical Awana Club Meeting is broken into three distinct phases (Large Group Time, Handbook Time and Game Time). Our strategy here is to meet the needs of every child—from the rambunctious child, who has energy to burn, to the inquisitive one, who loves to hear stories.
